ABOUT US

A Christian Community in the Methodist Tradition

The Methodist movement began more than 250 years ago, when John Wesley and his friends devoted themselves to earnestly seeking God and bringing the gospel to the poor and forgotten laborers in England. A movement of God's Spirit brought many thousands of people to faith in Jesus Christ. Wesley organized the new believers into house groups for study and encouragement, and the Methodist movement spread from home to home. English history was re-written as God brought hope to despairing masses.

Today, Caro United Methodist Church continues that tradition by proclaiming a faith that transforms us both as individuals and as a society. We bring hope to the poor through ministries of compassion, and grace to believers by encouraging one another in faith and good works.
