At the Caro Area District Library

Looking for a place that makes space for learning where your child can get the help they need in a safe, educational setting outside of school? Want to give your child the opportunity to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) concepts while participating in team building and problem solving? Consider the Curiosity Club at the Caro Area District Library. The library will be partnering with the Caro United Methodist Church to provide an after-school program on Tuesday's from 3:30-5:00 p.m. at the library. There is no charge for the program, and leadership will be provided by educational professionals, trained adults, and High School Honor Students. The Curiosity Club is open to children in K-8 and will include a snack time, tutoring and homework help, and a Makerspace session that offers STEM projects for the children to participate in. (See the article for more information on the Makerspace program.)

The program begins Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015 and runs until May 17, 2016. (We will follow the school calendar for breaks.)
