Lisa Wightman

I have attended Caro United Methodist Church my entire life and confirmed into Membership in 1973. I have held many leadership positions over the last 40 years and am currently the Chairperson of the Church Council.

The purpose of the Church Council is to provide for planning and implementing programs of nurture, outreach, witness, and resources in the local church. The Council is the administrative body of the Church, we envision plan, implement, and annually evaluate the Mission and Ministry of the Church.

As the Chair of this committee, I develop and carry through the agenda of this monthly meeting and follow up on any action items.

My husband Kevin and I were married in this Church in 1982 and raised our two adult children here.
